Seaplane harbor visit

A lot of people were at the concert. There was some dancing and this I like to watch. When it stopped the event turned boring.. Full moon was out but I did not see any werewolf, totally weird.

Coat Care

It should be forbidden to wear black clothes near me.. A few months ago another surprise hit me when I realized my  coat might be short, but I am a true shedding dog. It is recommended to brush me  at least once every 3 days. The reasons are different but main one is that it k eeps the fur in good shape.  Removes dead hair and also s weeps away dirt and debris from the coat. Furthermore, this s timulates blood flow to the skin, which in turn keeps hair follicles healthy. Where to get a good  Pro Dog Deshedding Tool ? Me as a therapy dog?!

After breaking the sofa the idea of being a therapy dog was truly hilarious.. Lately this all therapy dog thing has come to me and I am surprised. I did not even looked into it before because I never thought I could be a fit. Seriously! But surprise, surprise turns out a well trained Beagle can be a great  therapy  dog because of our size and  demeanor. Moreover, we are mostly loved due our outgoing temperaments, funny personalities and kindness. We are always friend ly with new people and our  appearance does not threaten.  When I now think about it I can see why and that is true. We love people and companion - so we are happy to help :) If you don't know who is a therapy dog then here is a small summary. Pet therapy is a  concept  based on  bridging  animals and people who may  otherwise  not be able to enjoy this type of relationship. Animals give unconditional love and with this they  make these people more happy.

Three different Beagle barks - how to I speak?

I guess I will start with the fact that  most Beagles will not be silent dogs. We enjoy saying out what we think and we can do it  in three different ways.  Usually I make a standard bark at daily things:  when I want attention,  when they leave me home alone,  when I am distressed,  when somebody comes to visit, when I can't get my toys,  when I protect my home,  when  getting a new treat, when old ladies walk towards me,  when I see plastic or garbage bags. Second, I am howling if I am sad or bored. Third, I make a  throaty yowl to alert others I found a target or its smell.  In general, there is always a reason for me to make sound.  I bark when I am happy, excited, angry and scared. What is funny fact is that at the puppy school my teacher said it is not normal if a dog tells the owner when is the correct time to go to pee. The more I looked around I saw it is common for us  Beagles to notify our people of our issues. I have my ritua

Beagle Teething - I have a different story

Today happened an amazing thing :) As you might know I am currently 1,3 years old but until now I had in my mouth two fangs  on one side of the mouth - one of course was my baby teeth. Usually we change out teeth between 3 to 7  months so you might understand that a lready 4 months ago doctors wanted to pull it because it is recommended  to have a veterinarian perform a dental checkup if the puppy still has baby teeth at the age of 6 months.  Luckily I managed to do my best and chew everything as much as I could so it simply dropped out. No visits to the doctor with that issue anymore.. Yeeiii!!  Actually, this was the first tooth somebody saw me changing because when I  lost all the others they were too tiny to see or I simply swallowed them while eating or playing. I was chewing a lot back then too so I made it on purpose as hard to see as I could.  Everybody at the house was curious how do I change my teeth so I though that I can show at least one sinc

Beagle Party

This exactly shows what voice I make if somebody is even thinking of making baby with me.  Hey guys! I am in too! Yesterday we had 23 Beagles at the playground and we ran like crazy. I always test when the new person comes if she gives me a treat or not. Usually it works :) Sniff, sniff, sniff.. We were trying to tell the guy, this is strictly a Beagle party and no foreigners allowed.

A proper city beagle hunting suit

I know that I am a hunting dog and my  ancestors hunted rabbits with the ancient Romans but seriously, I live in the city so I am sure you agree with me that it is perfectly okay if I do not hunt. Of course, if I  catch a good smell I am going to follow it.  Did you know that even a humorist Dave Barry once described Beagle as a nose with four legs?! It is the best way to describe me because I truly follow my nose first in every situation.  Going back to the topic of hunting then I was bred to hunt in packs so I ALWAYS need someone on my side before I even try hunting. My true nature enjoys companionship. Everybody notices it on the playground.  In general,  running is my favourite hobby but  if they send me to a hunting war I have to put this suit one. It is perfect for hunting or playing with cats because  I will never hurt anybody but they might hurt me.
